BMI Writers Nominated for 71% of the 2013 ACM Awards

Nominations for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards overwhelmingly show BMI writers at the top once again. The nominations include country music’s best established and emerging talent. Leading with seven nominations is BMI songwriter Eric Church, Hunter Hayes with six, Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift each with five, Luke Bryan, Little Big Town and Kacey Musgraves with four, and Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Eli Young Band, and Florida Georgia Line each with three nods.

Fan voting for New Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year begins March 25, 2013 at 3:00 PM ET/12noon PT at VoteACM.com. Fan voting for New Artist of the Year will close at 5 p.m. PT on April 7, 2013 (before the LIVE show starts) and fan voting for Entertainer of the Year will close during hour 3 of the LIVE broadcast.
