BMI Fills Losers Bar with Winners Celebrating 5 Blake Shelton #1 Hits

Losers bar in Nashville turned into a room full of winners as music industry executives, friends and family gathered to celebrate BMI affiliate Blake Shelton and the writers of his 5 recent #1 singles. The first song celebrated was “Doin’ What She Likes,” written by BMI writers Wade Kirby and Phil O’Donnell, followed by “My Eyes,” penned by BMI writers Andrew Dorff and Tommy Lee James with Josh Osborne. Dorff also had a hand in the next single celebrated, “Neon Light,” written with writers Mark Irwin and Josh Kear. Writers Brent Anderson and Ryan Hurd created “Lonely Tonight” and “Sangria” was written by JT Harding, Josh Osborne and Trevor Rosen. The bar was full to the brim with celebrants, who enjoyed the presentations by all 5 songs’ publishers, labels, producers and songwriters. Blake spoke highly of everyone he worked with, thanking all parties involved for the work to make the singles successful.
