BMI Spotlights Hot New Trio U.G.L.Y. in Pick of the Month Showcase
Broadcast Music, Inc. featured U.G.L.Y. (Under Greatness Lies You) at its most recent Pick of the Month showcase, held at the Roxy in Los Angeles on August 8. Designed to elevate performers already poised for breakthroughs, the series further introduces auspicious up-and-comers to both the industry and general public in a top-tier Los Angeles venue for discounted admission. With Mijo on the keyboards, Stormi on captivating lead vocals and Braxton on the punk/reggae-tinged guitar, U.G.L.Y. impressed the audience with their electro-bass mash-up sound. Their new single “REDD,” featuring Maad Scientist, and its attention-grabbing video directed by Chris Brown, has U.G.L.Y. making a mark as the next alternative band to watch.
