Broadcast Music, Inc.’s Senior Executive Writer/Publisher Relations, Europe, Simon Aldridge chaired the “Knowing Your Business” panel at the BMI sponsored “Ultimate Seminar” held Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Westminster University in Regents Street London. The Ultimate Conference 2013 was attended by more than 1,000 delegates throughout the day and was set up originally by Cre8ing Vision’s Kwame Kwaten, Nicola Charles and Andrea Euell. Cre8ing Vision provides young adults with firsthand insights into the music, sports and the creative industries through a series of seminars, workshops, internships placements and educational programs in order to inspire and enable attendees to learn valuable business skills, gain insight into their chosen field and benefit from networking opportunities. Established music professionals lead each panel and share inspirational experiences with The Ultimate Seminar attendees, encouraging individuals to set personal goals and realize their own objectives and ambitions.

This year the key speakers included: RCA President Colin Barlow, Island Records President Darcus Beese and Virgin Records President Ted Cockle.
