BMI Goes to NYU to Talk Music in Advertising – Deadline Extended to July 1 -  Apply Now!

The NYU/BMI Music in Advertising workshop is back and better than ever! Spearheaded by award-winning BMI composer Andy Bloch (Human: Music and Sound Design), the three-day seminar is dedicated to the business and techniques of producing and composing music for advertising, corporate branding and music production libraries. Esteemed BMI composer Peter Nashel (Duotone Audio Group) as well as music producer Keith D’Arcy (Universal Music Publishing Group) will also lend their vast knowledge to provide a dynamic mix of informative industry panels, faculty critique sessions and live recordings. Held in the state-of-the-art NYU James Dolan recording studio, workshop participants will produce and record their music with top-tier musicians and engineers, under real-world conditions. Representing BMI at the annual NYU/BMI Music in Advertising workshop will be BMI’s Assistant Vice President of Film/TV Relations, Ray Yee, who will also be fielding questions.
