BMI provided the musical entertainment at the International Idea Bank’s Spring Conference (5/17), held recently at the Doubletree Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas. BMI songwriter Barrett Baber, who finished 3rd on NBC’s hit TV show The Voice last year,  delivered a powerhouse performance for the more than 100 independent radio station owners and operators gathered for the conference. The annual event focuses on creative ways to increase revenues and promote radio as a brand. Baber, who is an Arkansas native, is getting ready to ‘Share a Coke’ in the spotlight of Coca Cola’s national campaign this summer and will be featured in its latest ad, along with DJ Khaled, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift. The song “Somethin’ ‘Bout The Summertime” from Baber’s EP “Falling Again” will be promoted on the labels of Coca-Cola products nationally all summer long.
