BMI Welcomes Hit Singer-Songwriter Aaron Gil

Rancho Humilde recording artist and songwriter Aaron Gil visited the Company’s Los Angeles office on June 20 to officially join BMI. As lead singer of the Mexican banda quintet Alta Consigna, Gil wrote their recent chart-topping single, “Culpable Tu.” A determined ensemble from Tijuana, Alta Consigna initially built a name for themselves via their savvy use of social media, establishing their appeal and musical versatility through a series of videos. In 2016, Gil fronted the band through two major album releases.
