BMI Unveils New Publisher Takeover Series

Big Machine Music Publishing showcases Eric Paslay and Callista Clark at BMI

BMI and PNC Bank kicked off a new publisher-focused writer series on June 19, at BMI’s Nashville office. The first installment of four Publisher Takeovers scheduled for the summer, Big Machine Music Publishing brought Eric Paslay and Callista Clark to the recently updated BMI Creative Patio for BMI’s new publisher-focused writer series.

Paslay has already racked up five career No. 1s and two GRAMMY nominations so far, and Clark, only fifteen years old, can be found writing alongside big-name hitmakers like Chris DeStefano, Laura Veltz, Jonathan Singleton, and others.

Aimed at providing BMI’s publishing affiliates with opportunities to showcase writers of their choosing, the Publisher Takeover series offers publishers a rare chance to host an event without any heavy lifting. While BMI manages the details of event-planning, publishers and their writers can focus on what matters the most: the music!

The BMI Publisher Takeovers will continue on the BMI Creative Patio July 18, August 15 and September 19. More details to come.
