BMI joined forces with the City of Philadelphia Department of Commerce’s Nighttime Economy Unit to launch their first ever Tuesday Nights Live initiative that will feature live music in the lobbies of multiple hotels throughout downtown Philly. The program launch party was hosted recently by the Downtown Marriott Philadelphia and featured a performance by BMI singer/songwriter Tyler James Bellinger, who has garnered more than 50 million streams on Apple Music and Spotify. Bellinger, who grew up just outside Philadelphia, was on NBC’s hit show Songland and has had his songs appear on Grey’s Anatomy and Pepsi ad campaigns. Tuesday Nights Live’s mission is to bring Philadelphians as well as tourists into the city’s hotel lobbies using live music to shine a spotlight on the local artists as well as the vibrancy of the city’s nightlife.
