The Society of Composers and Lyricists recently held several screenings and Q&As with the BMI composers responsible for the music in the films presented. They included the blockbuster Joker, with BMI composer Hildur Guðnadóttir; Harriet, with BMI composer Terence Blanchard and starring actress and singer-songwriter, Cynthia Erivo; and The Report, with BMI composer David Wingo. Each of the composers shared their unique insights on creating the music and their relationship with the director of the film.
