BMI hosted its first-ever Block Party on the PNC Plaza at the historic Ryman auditorium. The concert series ran June 9-11 during CMA Fest and highlighted 15 BMI songwriters. There were performances each day covering country, hip-hop, and pop.

The three-day lineup consisted of Kenton Bryant, Camille Parker, Madeline Edwards, Preston James, Boy Named Banjo, Grace Leer, Julia Cole, Alex Hall, Track45, Conner Smith, and Jenna Paulette, HomeGrown Trio, Alexandra Kay, Restless Road, and Justin Champagne. These aspiring performers garnered the attention of hundreds of fans throughout the weekend, performing covers of classic hits and giving country fans a taste of what’s to come with their own new songs before the nightly headliners of the festival at Nissan Stadium.
