BMI is set to return to Austin, TX, for another great year of curated music with twenty-four up-and-coming artists October 5-7 and 12-14. With fifteen years of Austin City Limits history under its belt, the BMI stage has solidified its reputation as Zilker Park’s hottest location for music discovery throughout the festival. A true ACL staple, festival attendees can expect groundbreaking performances from some of music’s most promising acts. Carefully curated and better than ever, this year’s lineup is stacked with incredible talent spanning a diverse blend of genres, including country, rock, pop, hip-hop, R&B and more.

Weekend one will see sleek-toned indie pop band lovelytheband (Oct. 5) take the BMI stage, as well as performances from alternative-rap trio Injury Reserve (Oct. 7), synth-pop indie band flor (Oct. 6) and alt-rock writer/producer Mikky Ekko (Oct. 5).

The second weekend will kick off with indie-rock duo The Blancos (Oct. 12) followed by gritty country-Americana lyricist Ruston Kelly (Oct. 13) and bluegrass-rockers Trampled By Turtles (Oct. 13). Folk-rock duo The Sisterhood Band (Oct. 14) will close out the festival for BMI on the final evening of the festival.

For well over a decade, the BMI stage has helped some of the industry’s largest superstars launch their careers in legendary Zilker Park, including a 2016 performance from country songstress Maren Morris who went on to win a GRAMMY later that year. This year’s talent will join the ranks of artists like Miranda Lambert, Alessia Cara, X Ambassadors, City and Colour, Gary Clark, Jr., Shakey Graves, Jon Pardi, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Maren Morris, Luke Combs and many more, who have helped push the BMI stage to the forefront of the festival.

“Every year, the BMI stage gets better and better, and this year is no exception,” said Mason Hunter, AVP Creative, Nashville. “BMI takes great pride in showcasing the talents of our affiliates, and we couldn’t be more excited to do so with phenomenal partners like C3.”
