BMI Partners with Warner-Chappell Music, Warner Music Group for Fifth Annual ‘Write On’ Song Camp

BMI was proud to partner with Warner/Chappell Music, and additionally this year Warner Music Group, for the fifth annual songwriting camp held on July 28 and 29 at the Atlantic Records Studio in Los Angeles. The “Write On” song camp provided a unique opportunity for an array of songwriters, producers and music creators to collaborate, network, and hone their skills in a creative environment to compose original new songs. Songs were written in both English and Spanish, and were focused on artists who could transcend in both markets. This year’s participants included Adriel Favela, Carl Ryden, Conor Mason, Danny Mercer, Federico Vindver & Angel Lopez, Felipe Ospina, Ferras, Fuego, Jazelle Rodriguez, Jon Leone, Josh Murty, Maahez, Matt Hunter, Omar Tavarez, Oscarcito, Patrick Ingunza, Phill Greiss, Randy Class, Sam Derosa, Tushar Apte, Vitto, and Whiskey Waters.
 
The camp concluded with participants completing 10 original demos for potential placement opportunities with Warner Music Groups’ talented crossover artists.
