BMI Partners with Texas Restaurant Association to Bring Music to the Texas Restaurant Show and Lone Star Bash

BMI was out in force recently at the 2023 Texas Restaurant Show and Lone Star Bash held in Houston this year. The show kicked off with a special performance by BMI songwriter Ryan Bingham who was in town promoting his new Bingham’s Bourbon brand. The Yellowstone star performed a heartfelt set of some of his greatest songs in front of a small group of Texas restaurant and bar owners along with executives with the Texas Restaurant Association.

Later in the evening, BMI sponsored a performance by award winning BMI songwriter Jack Ingram at the Lone Star Bash, an evening attended by hundreds of Texas restaurateurs and designed to celebrate excellence in the Texas Restaurant industry. The Texas artist has had multiple top 40 hits in country radio as an artist including “Wherever You Are” and “Love You”. As a songwriter he co-wrote the 2018 hit “Tin Man” for Miranda Lambert, which earned him an ACM award for Song of the Year as well as a Grammy nomination.

In addition, throughout the two days of the Texas Restaurant Show, BMI hosted a stage on the exhibit hall floor and showcased some of the finest BMI songwriters in the Houston area.
