BMI partnered with the Alabama Restaurant & Hospitality Association (ARHA) to bring Nashville songwriters to two BMI customer and ARHA member venues on the Alabama Coast. BMI singer-songwriters Tyler Reeve and Paul McDonald, both Alabama natives, performed to enthusiastic crowds at Alchemy in Mobile, AL (10/2) and GT’s On The Bay in Orange Beach, AL (10/3). Reeve, entertained the crowd performing “Whiskey on my Breath” (Love & Theft), “I Got Away With You” (Luke Combs) and BMI’s 2018 Country Song of the Year, “In Case You Didn’t Know” (Brett Young), to name just a few.

McDonald, who for the past decade has fronted bands the Grand Magnolia’s, Hightide Blues and the Sweetheart Deal performed songs from his latest album Modern Hearts. Paul will be heading out on tour with Hanson in December and is currently working on a new album which will be released in early 2020.

BMI provided the entertainment at member venues to thank longtime association members and give back to BMI customers who have supported BMI songwriters and publishers through their licensing fees.

The Alabama Restaurant and Hospitality Association (ARHA) represents over 1,200 members including restaurants, lodging, tourism, and hospitality service companies. The food service, hospitality and tourism industry is Alabama’s second-largest employer–making ARHA members the cornerstone of the state’s economy.
