BMI helped Country Radio Seminar celebrate its 50th year by shining a spotlight on both a group of up-and-coming BMI songwriters and a legendary country artist at the annual conference in Nashville, where the country music and radio industries come together for 3 days of sessions and performances. As in years past, BMI hosted a dinner at CRS (2/13) for important licensing customers and association partners that featured performances from BMI singer-songwriters Rachele Lynae, Jimmy Nash, Angie K, Julia Cole and Show Dog recording artist Lance Carpenter.

Later during the conference, BMI sponsored an intimate interview with Jason Aldean, who spoke about the trials and tribulations of a long career that has brought him multiple GRAMMY, ACM, and CMA awards. During his time in Nashville, the Broken Bow recording artist has been extremely supportive of BMI songwriters, having recorded more than 20 # 1 hits and having sold more than 17 million albums.
