BMI Latin Spotlight: The Tiarras
The Tiarras are a trio of sisters, Tori, Sophia and Tiffany Baltierra, with a Mexican American heritage who draw from a wide range of influences that reflect their upbringing. Weaving together elements of rock, Latin music, pop, soul, reggae and blues, the songs of the Tiarras are fueled by a passion for community and inclusivity, with tracks like “Soy Chingona” and “Let Love Free” gaining recognition on platforms like NPR World Cafe, Mitú, Grimy Goods, and Latin Alt. Radio. The band’s music has been used in campaigns for Rock the Vote, Jolt, and Voto Latino, solidifying the sister’ role in advocating social advancement and equality. After playing a notable gig at SXSW Sydney International, The Tiarras recently played a set at BMI’s Howdy Texas party at SXSW in Austin. Their future is bright and all about breaking boundaries, sparking change and leaving a positive, indelible mark on the music landscape.

Las canciones de The Tiarras combinan elementos de rock, música latina, pop, soul, reggae y blues, están impulsadas por su pasión por su comunidad e inclusividad.
