BMI Kicks Off AmericanaFest With a Full House

On September 12, BMI hosted the official AmericanaFest kickoff party, setting the tone for the renowned festival which followed. Originally billed as a rooftop event, poor weather moved the party indoors, but the change in venue certainly didn’t hinder fans and industry VIPs from packing the BMI lobby to capacity as three of Americana’s hottest acts took the stage. Hurray for the Riff Raff kicked off the night with a phenomenal acoustic set, followed by an equally impressive performance from Phoebe Hunt and the Gatherers. Susto had guests dancing and cheering for more, and ultimately wrapped up the night with an impromptu encore.
