BMI Indie Spotlight: Winter 2022
The year is winding down, but the team at BMI is not quite done with the Indie Spotlight! For our final edition of 2022, we’ve collected 12 promising acts who have spent the year honing their talents and gearing up for an amazing 2023.
First up is the exhilarating Aidan Bissett, followed by the bedroom pop stylings of Stephen Dawes, the multidisciplinary advocate CLAY, and the producer-turned-solo artist, Eem Triplin. The issue continues with the alternative and inclusive Marlo the Barbarian, the NYC-bred duo, Beau, the infinitely tall tales of Charlie Burg, and the otherworldly sounds of PIAO. Closing out the issue are alt-pop artist Zoe Ko, the no-nonsense Hayes Warner, the Brooklyn-tinged melancholy of Eva Rose, and the enticingly serene Jackson Sage.
