The last two years have been a wild trip for $NOT. The Florida-based rapper, equipped with just a microphone and an Instagram account, turned his relentless release schedule (songs like “Lovely,” “Beretta” with Wifisfuneral and “Ca$e 19” with Jasiah” are standouts) into a devoted following who would undoubtedly show up to see him perform at festivals like Rolling Loud. His breakout single, “GOSHA,” with its witty bars and infectious hooks, has amassed nearly 70 million streams on Spotify alone, and his music has received praise from publications like Complex and The Los Angeles Times. $NOT’s full-length album, -TRAGEDY+, dropped in March, and his newest single, “HUMAN,” dropped on May 22.
