BMI Indie Spotlight: NERIAH
Born and raised in both Los Angeles and Malibu, NERIAH is a rising singer/songwriter who never holds back. Her desire for self-expression has been constant (she wrote her first song when she was just five, and she also developed an online following with her YouTube vlogs), and the last few years have been about honing her sound, expanding her craft, and developing a catalog of original music. She’s released singles like “Lego Blocks,” “Unfinished Business,” and “AT LEAST I’M GOOD AT IT,” among others. Her eight-track EP, How Do I Get Clean?, was released in 2022 and served as the follow-up to her first EP, This Is How the World Made Me. NERIAH has gotten shoutouts from Spotify, Zane Lowe’s World Record, and KISS FM, among others, and has amassed more than 2M monthly listeners on Spotify alone. She continues to record and release new music, with “Puppet On a String” and “FALLING 4 SOMEBODY,” dropping thus far in 2023.
