BMI Indie Spotlight: Jade Marie Patek
Jade Marie Patek is carrying on the musical tradition of her bloodline. Her grandfather, polka legend, Joe Patek, delighted dancehall crowds for decades with his orchestra, and Jade herself took up songwriting a decade ago. Fueled by life and with a whole lot of heart and soul, Patek and her music are purely Texan and remarkably original. Her first EP, Fly Bird, has over 80K streams, and she has placed three Top 20 singles on the Texas Regional Radio Chart. Patek was also recognized in 2019 for being Texas Regional Radio New Female Vocalist of the Year and earned a nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year in 2020. Her most recent single was August 2019’s “Soulshine,” and she is currently at work on her next full-length project.
