Culture Wars is an Austin-based rock band whose debut album, if not now, when?, showcases their dynamic songwriting and genre-blending style, driven by members Alex Dugan, David Grayson, Dillon Randolph, Caleb Contreras, and Joshua Stirm. Their music, composed remotely and recorded at renowned studios like Sonic Ranch, United Recording, and Sunset Sound, features a fresh, organic sound that merges rock, electronic, R&B/pop production, surf rock, romantic ‘80s pop, and classic country influences, reflecting both their Texan roots and modern sensibilities. The group gained early recognition through energetic live performances and viral tracks such as “Faith” and “Lose Money,” while their hit “Leave Me Alone” was featured on the GRAMMY-nominated soundtrack for Bill & Ted Face the Music and landed in the Top 30 on the Alternative Rock chart. Mixed by acclaimed engineer Manny Marroquin, their music emphasizes authentic instrumentation and a bold, postmodern approach. As they continue to build momentum, Culture Wars leans into their honest, ambitious sound and collective chemistry, with fans enthusiastically awaiting future releases and performances.
