BMI Hosts a Pre-GRAMMY Celebration Honoring its 2026 Nominees
On Thursday, January 29, BMI hosted a private event at its Los Angeles office to celebrate its 2026 GRAMMY-nominated music creators. The celebration included BMI songwriters, composers, producers, and other music creators nominated across multiple categories, including Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical, Non-Classical, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Gospel Performance, Best R&B Song, Best Music Film, Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance, among several others, who all came together to toast each other’s accomplishments.
Some of the attendees included Linkin Park (Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson), Audrey Nuna, Philip Lawrence, INK, Mark Mothersbaugh, MTech, ARKAI (Jonathan Miron and Philip Sheegog), Hank Bentley, Rogét Chahayed, Dave Koz, Joanie Leeds, roselilah, and Laura Veltz. Closing out the brunch, BMI’s EVP, Chief Revenue & Creative Officer, Mike Steinberg toasted BMI’s family of incredibly talented music creators and wished them all the best of luck at the GRAMMY Awards slated for February 1.
