BMI Holds ‘Power Women en la Música Urbana’ Panel at Tu Música Urban Conference

BMI facilitated an intimate conversation between power women in the Latin urban music space during the Tu Música Urban Conference in Puerto Rico on June 22. Panelists included BMI singer/songwriter Mariah Angeliq, Women in Music’s Paola Solís, Protege Tu Música’s Lcda. Yira Santiago, La Música’s Bianca Alarcon and Lcda. Patricia Rivera MacMurray. The music mavens shared their experiences and successes while navigating through the ever-changing music industry. They also gave valuable insights on female representation in the Urban genre and discussed where they see the industry shifting in the future. BMI’s Mary Russe served as the panel’s moderator.
