BMI Congratulates its 56th Annual GMA Dove Award Winners
BMI songwriters earned nods at the 56th annual GMA Dove Awards, which aired on Friday, October 10, on TBN. This year’s award show took place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for the first time ever as the organization is led by 2025 BMI Spotlight Award recipient GMA President Jackie Patillo.
Hosted by Tauren Wells, Forrest Frank earned three awards and took home the evening’s greatest honor Artist of the Year and awards for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year. Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll’s collaboration “Hard Fought Hallelujah” also dominated three categories including Song of the Year, Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year and Short Form Music Video. 2025 BMI Christian Songwriter of the Year Jeff Pardo was named Producer of the Year for the third time in four years while newcomer Leanna Crawford won New Artist of the Year.
The evening was filled with powerful performances from BMI affiliates including Leanna Crawford, Lauren Daigle, for KING & COUNTRY, Ben Fuller, Jelly Roll, Carrie Underwood, Tauren Wells, CeCe Winans and more with a special Opry 100 tribute from Steven Curtis Chapman, Vince Gill and Lady A.
