BMI Congratulates its 2024 Oscar Nominees

BMI is very proud to congratulate our composers and songwriters who have been nominated for Academy Awards in this year’s categories for Best Original Score and Best Original Song. Oscar winners will be announced on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and televised live on ABC at 7pm EST.

This marks the 54th Academy Award nomination for legendary composer and BMI Icon John Williams. He previously won the Best original Score Oscar five times for Fiddler on the Roof, Jaws, Star Wars, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Schindler’s List.  Ludwig Göransson has previously been nominated for Best Original Song for “Life Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and won Best Original Score for Black Panther.  Mark Ronson won Best Original Song for “Shallow” from A Star is Born. These are the first Oscar nominations for Andrew Wyatt and Scott George.
