BMI is proud to congratulate its winners at last night’s CMA Awards, held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Luke Combs took home Entertainer of the Year for the second year in a row while also snagging Album of the Year for Growin’ Up, which he co-produced. Notably, Combs is the first person to win Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year in the same night since Taylor Swift in 2009.

Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year awards went to “Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson, while the Musical Event of the Year trophy went to “Never Wanted to be That Girl,” performed by Carly Pearce* and Ashley McBryde. It’s the first all-female collaboration to win the award in 28 years.
