Jasha Klebe and Jacob Shea’s soundtrack to the critically acclaimed BBC series, Planet Earth II, adds the final component to fill the senses, as the captivating program journeys to the four corners of the globe to discover the extreme forces that shape life. As the highest-rated U.S. nature show in the key demographic of adults 25-54 within the last five years, the premiere of the series, which ran on BBC America, AMC and SundanceTV, tuned in 2.7 million viewers, with additional episodes making it the network’s most watched unscripted telecast ever. Accolades for the show continue with The Hollywood Reporter describing it as “stunning and sublime,” Variety deeming it “…the most important program of our generation,” and The New York Times hailing it “dazzling.”

Klebe and Shea of Bleeding Fingers are responsible for the provocative score that accompanies eye-to-eye encounters with incredible creatures, as well as epic treks through breathtaking wilderness. The duo’s other prestigious credits include Klebe’s score for the Emmy and Oscar-nominated Netflix documentary, Winter On Fire: Ukraine’s Fight For Freedom, and Shea’s six seasons of co-composing the critically acclaimed Through the Wormhole, which was narrated by legendary actor Morgan Freeman.

Planet Earth II brings a whole new view of our planet with an immersive exploration of the islands, mountains, jungles, grasslands, deserts and cities of the world. Catch it on BBC America, Saturdays at 9 PM Eastern/8 PM Central.
