BMI Composer Chris Lennertz Supports USC Scoring Students With Mentorship Program

BMI composer Christopher Lennertz again this year mentored students in the University of Southern California’s Scoring for Motion Picture and Television program, giving first-hand insights on composing for visual media. BMI Vice President, Creative Relations Doreen Ringer-Ross, who spoke to the students about career development, signed Lennertz to BMI after meeting him in the program. The class, which is sponsored by BMI, was facilitated by USC’s Scoring for Motion Picture and Television Program Chair Dan Carlin, as well as USC Adjunct Assistant Professor and esteemed music journalist Jon Burlingame.
