BMI congratulates its 2026 CMA Triple Play Award-winning songwriters who were honored during the ceremony at the iconic Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum™ in Nashville on Monday, April 13.

BMI songwriters received 11 of 16 nods, as each songwriter was celebrated for penning three No. One hits within a 12-month span, including affiliates John Byron, Jessie Jo Dillon, Riley Green, 2025 BMI Country Songwriter of the Year Charlie Handsome, Ella Langley, 2024 BMI Country Songwriter of the Year Chase McGill, John Morgan, Blake Pendergrass, Taylor Phillips, Ernest Keith Smith, and Morgan Wallen. Green, Langley, Morgan and Pendergrass each celebrated their first Triple Play Award this year. During the evening, CMA also recognized 43 songwriters who earned their first No. One song since the last Triple Play celebration, highlighting the next generation of hitmakers shaping the format.
