BMI Celebrates its 2024 Premios Juventud Nominees

Posted in News on June 25, 2024

BMI is very proud of its many Latin songwriters nominated for Premios Juventud. Highlighting their wide-ranging influence and impact, BMI affiliates were represented in 23 of the program’s 31 categories. Of this year’s multiple nominees that are BMI affiliates, Peso Pluma leads the way with seven nods, while Karol G and Shakira have six each, Grupo Frontera have five, and Bizarrap, Fuerza Regida and Ozuna are tied for four each.

First held in 2004, Premios Juventud celebrates Spanish speaking songwriters, luminaries, athletes, artists, and celebrities from all aspects of popular culture. Its winners are determined by online voting by Univision viewers.

The event will be broadcast live on Univision on July 25 at 7 p.m. ET from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, and will be hosted by Lele Pons, Clarissa Molina and Wisin.
