On Tuesday night, Luke Combs joined his BMI co-writers Thomas Archer and Taylor Phillips at downtown Nashville’s ACME Feed and Seed to celebrate their two-week #1 platinum-certified hit “Hurricane.” The celebration was an especially momentous occasion as the single marks the first #1 for Combs, Archer and Thomas. Friends, family and Nashville industry gathered to commemorate the success of the chart-topper as the first debut artist single to stay at #1 for multiple weeks since Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise.” In addition, Combs is the first debut solo male to accomplish the task since Darius Rucker in 2008.
