BMI and longtime partner, the Massachusetts Restaurant Association, recently teamed up to provide the musical entertainment at “The Toast,” the annual reception that takes place after day one of the New England Food Show, which is held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. BMI songwriter and Voice contestant Ryleigh Modig entertained more than 200 restaurant owners and executives who were in Boston for the Food Show, a joint venture between the National Restaurant Association and the Massachusetts Restaurant Association, that provides attendees with the opportunity to learn about the latest products, services, and technology in the food service industry. Ryleigh, a native of Spencer, Massachusetts, appeared on Season 20 of The Voice where she originally was on Kelly Clarkson’s team, but then later chose John Legend as her coach. After she was eliminated, the BMI songwriter was a guest on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she performed Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License.”
