BMI hosted a special GRAMMY edition of its long-running series How I Wrote That Song® on Friday, February 2, at The London West Hollywood. This iteration’s 2024 GRAMMY-nominated panel participants featured singer/songwriter and producer Davido, GRAMMY-winning producer/songwriter D’Mile, who was named Producer of the Year at BMI’s 2022 R&B/Hip-Hop Awards, and GRAMMY-winning producer/rapper Hit-Boy. BMI’s VP, Creative, Catherine Brewton led the conversation as these chart-toppers discussed the creative process behind their biggest hits and GRAMMY-nominated songs. Additional attendees included BMI affiliates, 2024 GRAMMY-nominated Tay Keith, artist Kaliii, rapper Big Hit and more.
