Best of Indie 2015: Hailey Knox
Singled out in BMI’s Indie Spotlight in June for her preternaturally gifted voice, her precocious songwriting abilities and assertive self-promotion on YouTube, teenaged Hailey Knox is gaining momentum. While preparing her debut album on S-Curve records, Knox received the Songwriter Hall of Fame Abe Oldman Scholarship for 2015, a prestigious program named after a titan of songwriting and music publishing and one of the Hall of Fame’s founders. Given the buzz and promise that surrounds Knox at this early stage in her career, she remains a singer-songwriter to watch.
