Atlanta Downhill Challenge Presented by MetroMix.com Hosts BMI Rock Stage Nov. 15

BMI will offer a stage of southeastern indie rock sounds at the 3rd Annual Atlanta Downhill Challenge, presented byMetroMix.com. Slated for Saturday, November 15 at the Starlight-Six Drive-In (2000 Moreland Ave. SE, 30316), the charity-driven soapbox derby will benefit PALS Atlanta (palsatlanta.org) and Forgotten Paws (forgottenpaws.com). BMI will present a diverse lineup comprising a range of driving post-punk and pop-savvy southern gentlemen to Latin-infused funk, courtesy of Nashville’s The Hollywood Kills from 1-1:45 p.m.; Charleston, South Carolina’s All Get Out take the stage from 2 to 2:25 p.m.; 3-3:45 p.m. brings Atlanta’s Ponderosa; Nashville’s Here Come the Mummies will jam from 4 to 4:45 p.m., and Atlanta’s Snowden will cap the day of music off at 5 until 5:45 p.m.
