BMI and Mun2 Celebrate ‘El Otro Lado del Hip-Hop II’

BMI and Mun2 celebrated urban Latino music with "El Otro Lado del Hip-Hop II," held recently at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood. The "LUrban" (Latin urban) music showcase brought together the talents of Latin hip-hop act La Sinfonia, LUrban singer/rapper Rigo Luna, regional hip-hop group Mexiclan and bilingual rapper Eddie G; DJ Joe Matrix spun a fresh mix in between sets.

The packed house included Mun2's Flavio Morales, Vicky Cabildo and VJ Frankie Knuckles, BMI's Delia Orjuela, rappers Malverde and Don Abusivo, r&b singer Ness Bautista, reggaeton artist Yazukita, songwriter Toby Sandoval, songwriter/producer Michael Figueroa, and Machete Records head Gustavo Lopez.
