Hall & Oates Inducted Into Hollywood Rock Walk

Longtime BMI songwriter/artists Darryl Hall and John Oates were inducted into the Hollywood Rock Walk at the Guitar Center in Los Angeles recently. Founded in November 1985, the Rock Walk is a collection of handprints, signatures, and memorabilia from rock 'n roll's greatest musical performers and innovators who have contributed the most to forge the integrity and promote the growth of rock 'n roll as an art form. All Rock Walk inductees are chosen solely by past honorees through secret ballot. Hall & Oates join past inductees Holland-Dozier-Holland, Aerosmith, Ginger Baker, Chuck Berry, Black Sabbath, Johnny Cash, Dick Clark, Bo Diddley, The Doobie Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Willie Dixon, Leo Fender, Marvin Gaye, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Holly, B.B. King, Little Richard, Keith Moon, Ozzy Osbourne, Roy Orbison, Les Paul, Elvis Presley, John Lee Hooker, The Moody Blues, Phil Ramone, Carl Perkins, Smokey Robinson, and Alex and Eddie Van Halen, to name a few.
