Posted in News on July 19, 2002

Tony Martin, Mark Nesler, Tom Shapiro -- three songwriters at the top of their game -- were the guests of honor at a BMI Nashville celebration (7/12) for "Living and Living Well," recorded by George Strait on MCA Nashville. The song, published by Buna Boy Music, Glitterfish Music, Mosaic Music, Sony/ATV Tree, and Wenonga Music, was produced by Strait and Tony Brown. Strait's manager, Erv Woolsey, accepted on the behalf of the star.

The three writers are also on the charts with Darryl Worley's "I Miss My Friend." Shapiro and Martin teamed with Sara Evans to write her latest single, "I Keep Looking"; they previously penned "No Place That Far" with her.
