Co-sponsor BMI was on hand to help congratulate the winner of the Indie Band Search 2002 contest, presented by ModMusic Records. Grand Prize winner Angela McClusky (center) was treated to dinner at The Elephant on New York's Lower East Side, and took home several prizes including a track on the nationally distributed "Indie Choice" compilation CD, a Fender electric bass and guitar, a $150 gift certificate to Sam Ash Music Stores, and lots of other cool stuff. Seen here after dinner are ModMusic's Marilyn D'Amato and Monica Castellanos, McClusky, BMI's Brooke Primont and McClusky''s manager Danny Heaps.
