The song, the first single from his Columbia Records release Down The Road I Go, is published by his Post Oak Publishing and is co-produced by Billy Joe Walker, Jr. The album, Tritt's first in two years, features seven songs written or co-written by him.

Tritt has earned numerous BMI Country Award and Million-Air honors for his compositions "Anymore," "Can I Trust You With My Heart," "Here's A Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)," "Drift Off To Dream," "Foolish Pride," "Help Me Hold On," "Looking Out For Number One," "More Than You'll Ever Know," "Nothing Short Of Dying" and "Tell Me I Was Dreaming."
