Blues Foundation Honors Willie Nelson

Willie Nelson received the B. B. King Blues Hero Award from the Blues Foundation in honor of his leadership of the annual Farm Aid benefit. The award was given to him on October 2 in Los Angeles at the House of Blues where he performed during the Blues Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award presentation to Ray Charles.


Appearing with him following the event are (l-r): BMI's Cheryl Dickerson and Dr. David Sanjek, Nelson, songwriter Brenda Russell and BMI's Linda Livingston.
