Ralph Stanley Receives BMI Certificate of Achievement
BMI’s Perry Howard (right) presents legendary musician Ralph Stanley with a special Certificate of Achievement following the troubadour’s concert at Nashville’s Station Inn last month, celebrating his 87th birthday. Stanley’s BMI affiliation spans more than 60 years, a career that has included induction into the Grand Ole Opry and the International Bluegrass Hall of Honor as well as a GRAMMY win for his work on the soundtrack for the Coen Brothers’ film ’O Brother, Where Art Thou?.’
