BMI Legend Receives Accolades at Radio Industry Dinner
Legendary Motown songwriter Barrett Strong was a special guest at the Radio Advertising Bureau Spring Board Dinner held recently (4/25) in Detroit, where BMI presented the iconic writer with Million Air certificates to recognize several of his songs that have been performed at least a million times on the radio. Strong received two Million-Air certificates for "War," "I Wish it Would Rain" and "Smiling Faces Sometimes," and a Million-Air certificate for "Cloud Nine."
