BMI presented Phil Madeira and special guests from his latest project MERCYLAND: Hymns for the Rest of Us on September 13 at the Downtown Presbyterian Church during the 2012 Americana Music Festival in Nashville. Madeira, Emmylou Harris, Shawn Mullins, North Mississippi Allstars, Buddy Miller and surprise guests performed songs from the critically acclaimed album in the packed sanctuary.
