Thom McHugh Receives Trio of Million-Air Awards
BMI presented three Million-Air Awards to hit songwriter Thom McHugh on February 3 in Nashville. “Holdin’ Heaven” – Tracy Byrd’s first No. 1 in 1993 – has earned more than 3 million performances; Kenny Chesney’s “Don’t Happen Twice” has accrued more than 2 million; and Trace Adkins’ “More” has received more than 1 million.
