BMI Celebrates the Alliance of Women in Media’s 60th Anniversary
BMI recently celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Alliance of Women in Media (AWM) by sponsoring an appearance by Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Vanessa Carlton at a special luncheon held at the Marriott Marquis in New York. Carlton performed songs from her latest album, Rabbits on the Run, as well as hits such as “A Thousand Miles” and “Ordinary Day.” Pictured are violinist Skye Steele, AWM President Erin Fuller, Carlton, AWM National Board Chair and CBS Radio’s Val Blackburn, and BMI’s Dan Spears.
