BMI presented a collection of Million-Air awards to songwriter Danny Wells with at the organization’s Music Row offices on July 14. The versatile Nashville hit-maker was honored for George Strait’s “Check Yes or No,” which has accumulated 5 million performances; Rascal Flatts’ “These Days,” which has earned 2 million; and Craig Morgan’s “Little Bit of Life,” which has amassed more than 1 million performances.
