Patrick Williams Named SCL Ambassador
BMI composer and past BMI Richard Kirk Award recipient Patrick Williams was named an SCL Ambassador at the Society of Composers and Lyricists (The SCL) annual holiday gala in December. Williams was inducted along with Alan and Marilyn Bergman, and he joins BMI composers Charles Fox, Dave Gruisin, Earle Hagen, Lalo Schifrin, The Sherman Brothers, David Shire, and many others as honorary Ambassadors for The SCL. Congratulating Williams on the award are Greer Williams, Williams’ daughter; Alison Smith, Senior Vice President, Performing Rights, BMI; Patrick Williams; Doreen Ringer Ross, Vice President, Film/TV Relations, BMI: and Katherine Williams, Williams’ wife.
